The saleroom — twice a year, and continuously

What the archive can spare.

Eight lots, no reserve, sold to the room. The pieces are invented, the provenances are invented, and so is everyone you are bidding against — they are generated, they do not know you, and they will still take a lot off you if you hesitate.

You bid from your account. Win, and it settles like any other purchase: the money leaves the balance and the lot joins your history. Lose, and you have lost nothing at all, which is the arrangement throughout.
